「この朝の一首」（A Japanese short poem "tanka" for the day with pictures taken by Philip)：
　　・　神の顔 目の当たりにしおののきぬ死すべき者がなお生かされて　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　・　御顔みる恵みの境地今知りてヤコブその地をぺニエルと呼ぶ　　愛馬伝師　　Gen. 32:30. Jacob trembled after seeing the face of God knowing that he should be dieing, but had spared his life. It was a fearful yet blessed experience for Jacob. He named that place Peniel as he has seen the face of the Lord God.
