筆者は、昨日は、Michigan State University College of Human
Medicineの病院での講演「Asbestos-related mesothelioma」、
今日は、Grand Valley StateUniversityで「Cancer & Mindfulness ~ The spirit of the Philosophy of Cancer ~」の講演に赴いた（主催: Grand Valley State University / Office of Multicultural Affairs；後援: Asian Faculty mad Staff Association, Asian Student Union, Campus Interfaith Resources, Delta Phi Lambda, East Asian Studies, Division of Inclusion and Equity, Kiekhof College of Nursing, Milton E. Ford LGBT Resource Center, Modern Languages and Literatures-French, University Libraries, Office of the Vice Provost for Health, and WGVU Public Media）。
質問にも大いに感激した。

「Office of Multicultural Affairs」の「"KAKEHASHI Project -The Bridge for Tomorrow-" 」(“かけはし”プロジェクト( USA-Japan)
のスタッフの方が､企画・司会をされたので、講演の中では、特に、「Under -Secretary General of the League of Nations (1920-1926)」であった「新渡戸稲造」について多くを語った。「How Would He Describe The Soul of Japan」を、氷河を示しながら説明した。

新鮮な、「国際教養・国際性・国際人」の有り様の学びの時となった。まさに、「Recognizing thepast〜Looking forward to the future〜」の時である。
