many thanks, nobby, for informing me of the demise of dear CLIFF SCHEIFER. here is TRIBUTE

TRIBUTE TO CLIFF SCHEIFER

WE are saddened to hear of the unexpected loss of dear scheifer sensei in buffalo. our niagara ministry began in 1988, when we welcomed miyamura sensei of japan on his return to japan from usa. from our early days setsuko kadohama would join our canadian house meetiings from across the border. it was she who introduced us to scheifer sensei. at that time
both cliff and marion were already involved with the ministry of the little japanese group in a baptist church buffalo

we ,immediately invited them to minister to the niagara nikkei community alternately with us. they were very co.oerative and came
more than once a month. his rich experience in japan, his fluency in japanese and his musical
talent added to enhance the popularity of our niagara services. even after he was pre-deceased by marion, he continued to serve in canada, and he contined even after i could no longer drive to niagara falls from 2013.

i am now grieving the loss of a dear co-worker, a christian brother and loving friend. but our
loss will be heaven's gain.
